Stillwater Center is home to approximately 98 children and adults with a variety of severe and complex intellectual or physical disabilities and high-level medical needs. All of the individuals who call Stillwater Center home rely on 24/7 support for their daily care needs. Owned and operated by the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners, Stillwater Center is an Intermediate Care Facility that provides permanent and respite living, along with medical care, occupational and physical therapy, habilitation services, recreational programming and other supports that promote health, dignity and quality of life.

About the Inaugural Stillwater Spooktacular 5K & Fun Run
The inaugural Stillwater Spooktacular 5K Run & Walk is an accessible, family-friendly event that brings the community together to support a great cause. Participants of all ages and abilities can enjoy a festive, fun-filled experience, including a costume contest, trick-or-treating and raffle prizes.
Proceeds will directly support recreational programming, therapeutic activities and other essential items not covered by traditional funding sources. Every step you take helps create experiences that spark joy, build connections and enrich the lives of those who call Stillwater Center home.

7:30am – Registration and packet pick-up begins at the Stillwater Center
9:00am - 5k start time
10:00am – Timing stops
10:15am – 5K awards
10:30am – Fun Run start time

Early Bird Special (Current – September 13) $30 – includes shirt + timed run
Standard Registration (September 14 – October 7) $35 – includes shirt + timed run
Limited Notice Registration (October 8 – October 17) $40 – timed run, t-shirt not included
FUN RUN
Free participation | *can add a shirt for $15 (through October 7)
Shirts are guaranteed if registered by October 7th. Some shirts may be available on race day but aren't guaranteed. Registration fees are nonrefundable/nontransferable.
There will not be any onsite registration. Online registration will remain open until 8:45am on race day.
Parking
There is designated parking available on the property. Please follow volunteers' directions.

Awards will be issued to the top finishers based on age groups
Awards will be issued to the Halloween Costume Contest Winners based on age groups
Cancellation Policy
By registering for this race, you agree that there will be no refunds offered for this event. On race day, we will be following the pandemic guidance currently recommended from the State of Ohio. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, pandemic, or for any other reason deemed necessary by timing company, race organizers, public safety officials, or anyone else in charge, we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if possible, cancel the race, or convert this to a virtual race. There will be no refunds for any reason and race items will not be mailed.Weather in Ohio can be unpredictable. Unless we have thunder, lightning, ice on the course, unsafe temperatures, or are not permitted to drive on the roads, we will host the race. If we have to cancel for the aformentioned reasons or other reasons not mentioned, the race will be virtual and shirts will be available for pick up at a date to be determined. Transfer Policy
If you find that you can no longer participate in this event, transfers to another participant will be permitted through September 17th.Refund Policy
